San Francisco Giants Tickets

Thing No. 1

It's a dynamic pricing world

The San Francisco Giants is the first ballclub to institute dynamic pricing.  Everything from weather reports, winning streaks, the other team (watch out for the Dodgers), and pitching matchups all get factored into pricing of single game tickets every single day.  You can lock in seating prices by just going to the San Francisco Giants Ticket Pricing Page.  It's a great page because you can simply see all pricing in a simple table.  They have Flat Seating Charts and 3D Seating Charts but that simple table is our favorite for seeing all the prices.

Thing No. 2

Check Online

If you don't care how far in advance you get tickets then we recommend continually checking the San Francisco Giants Online Box Office. Because of the dynamic pricing model the online box office is the best and the worst place for Giants tickets depending on popularity and pricing.  Remember though, due to the incredible variability to the attendees at Giant's games the online box office gets more single game tickets than for fan-bases like the Cubs or the Red Sox(where everyone locks in on tickets for ages).  The best time for tickets to pop up is the day before a new team comes to town when they give back to the home team their extra tickets.

Thing No. 3

Craigslist

Craigslist is a great option for tickets in any city but in San Francisco it's like a religion.  Everyone in San Francisco feels like they know him (there is actually a guy named Craig) and so they rely on good old Craig to get set them up on dates, get rid of moving boxes and of course buy and sell tickets.

Thing No. 4

StubHub!

We don't love StubHub! in San Francisco as much as we do elsewhere (due to the power of Craigslist here) but it's still the most reputable place to buy broker-priced tickets.  It's a basic broker system except StubHub! is a partner of the teams and the season ticket holders so they get a ton of inventory and have more credibility due to those relationships.  The original seller has to give StubHub! a cut (15%) but the tickets are there and while you pay a premium if you have to go then it's a reliable source.
